About Annette
Annette attended school in Mt. Gambier before completing a Bachelor of Science at Adelaide University. She worked in hospital pathology before moving into the arts, banking, and mining services. Elected to the SA Parliament in 1993, she held various portfolios and served as Deputy Opposition Leader from 1997 to 2002, and President of the ALP. She entered the Senate in 2005 and retired in 2011. She is married with one son.
